Dr. Mohamed Elrifai, MD

Interventional and Structural Cardiologist

Dr. Mohamed Elrifai is an Interventional and Structural Cardiologist with advanced fellowship training in Interventional Cardiovascular Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He completed his Cardiovascular Medicine fellowship at the University of Colorado and his Internal Medicine residency at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, where he also served as Chief Resident.

Before pursuing his cardiology training, Dr. Elrifai spent five years at the Cleveland Clinic, where he gained extensive experience managing complex cardiovascular conditions.

Dr. Elrifai specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of coronary artery disease, performing high-risk percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI). He also manages patients with peripheral artery disease and structural heart disease, offering advanced minimally invasive procedures such as transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) and patent foramen ovale (PFO) closure.

He is board certified in Cardiovascular Medicine, Internal Medicine, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology, and Cardiovascular Computed Tomography.

Dr. Elrifai is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care and strives to empower patients to take an active role in their cardiovascular health.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Elrifai enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, traveling, exploring the outdoors, and staying active.
