Jad Daye M.D., RPVI

Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist

Dr. Jad Daye, MD, RPVI is a board-certified interventional cardiologist with expertise in coronary, structural and peripheral interventions. He currently serves as the President of Cypress Cardiovascular Institute, Chief of Staff Elect at HCA North Cypress Hospital, and Associate Professor at the University of Houston School of Medicine.

Training and Expertise

Dr. Daye completed his interventional cardiology fellowship at Baylor Heart and Vascular Hospital, where he gained extensive experience performing over 500 percutaneous coronary interventions (PCIs), 100 transcatheter aortic valve replacements (TAVRs), and 40 peripheral interventions. He previously completed his general cardiology fellowship at Boston University Medical Center and internal medicine residency at Baylor College of Medicine.

Leadership

As Chair of the Cardiology Department at HCA North Cypress from 2021-2023, Dr. Daye demonstrated strong leadership skills overseeing a team of 40 cardiologists. He has a proven track record of providing high-quality patient care and driving efficiency improvements. Dr. Daye also serves as the Chest Pain Medical Director on several hospital committees.

In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr. Daye is an adept educator experienced in training both clinical and non-clinical audiences. He is a team player known for his adaptability. Dr. Daye earned his MD from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and graduated summa cum laude with a BS in Biology from the University of Houston. He holds board certifications in interventional cardiology, general cardiology, nuclear cardiology, and echocardiography and is a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI). Dr. Daye is licensed to practice medicine in Texas and Massachusetts. Throughout his training, Dr. Daye was the recipient of several prestigious grants and scholarships recognizing his academic excellence and research potential. He remains committed to advancing the field of cardiology through his clinical work, leadership, and education.
